Mikel Arteta Confirms Intention to Sign New Arsenal Contract

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has publicly stated his intention to sign a new contract at the club, reassuring fans about his long-term commitment. Speaking on the matter, Arteta confirmed that discussions are progressing positively, indicating a strong consensus among all involved.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Arteta's exact words were: “We are all very much aligned. Whenever the time is right, we'll get that done. There is nothing to be concerned about.” This statement suggests that while the formal signing has not yet occurred, an agreement in principle is in place and the announcement is a matter of timing rather than negotiation.

The confirmation from Arteta himself will be welcomed by Arsenal supporters, who have seen the club make significant strides under his leadership. His current contract runs until 2025, and this new agreement is expected to extend his tenure further, cementing his role in guiding the team's ongoing project.
