Mikel Arteta on Squad Rotation, Timber's Return, and Attack Ahead of Match
Manager Mikel Arteta discussed squad rotation due to a congested schedule, Jurrien Timber's return to contention for minutes, and the team's attacking qualities ahead of tonight's fixture.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has provided insights into his team selection strategy and player availability, emphasizing the current demanding fixture list. Speaking ahead of tonight's match, Arteta acknowledged the need for rotation to manage player fatigue and maintain performance levels across the squad.
“We’re in a congested period right now. We're playing midweek games as well,” Arteta stated, explaining the reasoning behind recent changes. “We made four changes against Napoli, we make another four for today and we try to keep all the players connected with a high level of confidence, and with the right.”
A significant update from the manager concerned Jurrien Timber, who is now back in contention for playing time. “He’s in contention to play minutes for the team, something that we haven't had for many months with him, and we know the type of player and personality that we have,” Arteta confirmed, signaling the defender's long-awaited return from injury.
Arteta also commented on the team’s attacking prowess, attributing it to the quality of his players and the team's overall flow. “First of all, they are really good players and the team is flowing. The team is able to be really dominant in games and when that happens for attacking players, their job is easier,” he concluded, highlighting the collective effort contributing to offensive success.
